About Me
Frieda Marie Patrick Davison grew up in Russell Co., Va., on a farm at the base of Big A Mountain about 4 miles outside of the town of Honaker. She is a daughter of Clyde Anderson and Beulah Marie (Rasnake) Patrick.

The impact of The American Legion Post 28 and Auxiliary Unit 28 on the community, county, and state has never been fully documented or acknowledged. This book is just a beginning effort to correct that. It covers the early history of the organizations including their charters, founding members, early and continuing leadership, and programs.
